Unkown freakish Light?

Question

Me and 3 other friends were out on the deck. My friend has an electric fence that sourounds the pasture so the horses don't get out. I was looking at the moon then i see something at the corner of me eye. It looked like a leaf or something was getting shocked. and i didn't care for a while. then i just started watching it and it started mooving like every foot it would blink like this electric shock color. 2 of my friends thought i was crazy. but 1 was seeing what i was seeing. It was going around in circles.. around a tree then behind some bushes.. then back around.. and then it started coming in my friends yard..so we all ran into the house.

it looked like a electric shock dot. it wasnt to visible but u could see it.

there was only one flash of light at a the same time.

so if you could help me out on this that would be great.

I think it was a lightning bug but i could be wrong if not then it could be that you were looking in the dark to long at the horse then you turned and it seemed like you were seeing it but it was your eyes

other than that it was a ghost i believe in ghost so if none of the first 2

than it was a GHOST!
