I got hit by a motorcycle the police said I was not at fault. Come to find out the person who hit me was 15. She is a kid, no license and not even legal enough to drive let alone anything else. Can anyone tell me what happens to her. She's ok thank god but curious now…what happens to a kid other then their license being kept from them longer in the state of Massachusetts. Are the parents held responsible for allowing her to drive it? I have insurance (full coverage) I am not worried but I would KILL My kid if that happened plus I feel the parents should be responsible since she is THEIR responsibility.

  1. The parents are responsible.

  2. The parents should be responsible but in these days of lunatic PC idiots that run the country.Kids have rights.

  3. Isn't Massachussetts a no-fault insurance state ?

If so, then your insurance will pay damages.  How would you like the parents held responsible ?  Maybe they were unaware she was driving .

  4. She'll probably be held off from getting her license until she is older than 16, and I think her parents are 100% responsible.

  5. Because of her age, she is old enough to know right from wrong, you could not make a case against the parents.  Use your own insurance and tell the kid you want her to reimburse you for your deductible.  Tell the parents the same thing.
