Unlikely Prince likely to be dominant in Bookmakers Stayers at Henlow
Unlikely Prince, who is running very well over various distances on home soil, has the best chance of bagging the top prize in Henlow’s Bookmakers Stayers on Thursday. With two comprehensive wins under his belt, the blue and white dog is currently flushing
with confidence, looking good to complete the hat-trick.
After finishing third in two straight races early in November, Unlikely Prince put his journey on the right track. He initially produced a positive result at the S2 level. On November 16th, the son of Swords Prince demonstrated an outstanding
show, seizing the first place comfortably by four lengths.
After getting his act together, the August-10 hound jumped up to the open level. Without wasting any time, S. Gaughan’s dog took the honours on November 22nd. He led at the fifth bend, and stayed ahead until the wire. By claiming the first place
by a couple of lengths, he collected plenty of admiration.
Currently on a hat-trick, Unlikely Prince is really determined. He has a good record when starting from the third box, and claimed victory from the same draw last time. If he dominates, a cash prize of 150 pounds will be given to him.
Other contestants in the 692 metres clash are: Pantone Ava, Crinkill Jewel, Romeo Explosion, Darket Misty and Duty Extra.
Duty Extra will have to dig very deep in this company. An average effort is not going to suffice. Pantone Ava, the Yorkshire St Leger and TV Trophy finalist, surely has a role to play. So, the rest of the line-up should stay cautious of her.
It is really important that Darket Misty counters any significant early moves. Otherwise, her chances will not be good enough. Romeo Explosion is struggling to get a clear passage these days. The white and black dog did well to get the runner-up place despite
getting bumped last time around.
One should not take Crinkill Jewel lightly despite her current bad form. The white and black b***h has reached Henlow after facing embarrassment respectively at Wimbledon and Belle Vue. Nevertheless, a calculated risk can be taken on the talented b***h.
