Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of any "actually" decent reliable unlimited hosting companies. (and yes, I know "unlimited" is not unlimited)

Please DO NOT recommend Gisol.com, they make me sick!

How about Dot5Hosting.Com and Hostgator.com Streamline.net

But how reliable are these host? Like gator and Dot5? And does anyone know of any Actually reliable host they have had experience in?

Please send me a couple at leaste, I really need to transfer from Gisol ASAP!

Thanks!

  1. Recommend you look into Netfirms - http://tinyurl.com/netfirms and 1&1 Internet Hosting - http://tinyurl.com/1and1hosting . These two companies have been in business for over 10 years and have a broad customer-base. Netfirms Business Plan allows you to pay quarterly as well (instead of annual).

  2. I've heard hostgator is pretty good, though I've never tried them myself.

But really, unlimited hosting is usually unnecessary. And as you've probably noticed, it's hard to find one that's reliable because they generally oversell and the servers crash. I think it's more important to figure out how much space you'll need. More likely than not, what you'll need a lot of is bandwidth, not so much webspace. You could have an incredibly small site in webspace (like under 5MB) but use bandwidth like crazy if you get a lot of visitors.

  3. Always avoid free or very inexpensive web hosting services, because you may experience bouts of server downtimes and you are likely to have significant limitations in storage, number of email addresses, FTP upload etc. This is why I recommend using HostGator web hosting and provide more explanation in my website at http://www.starzlet.com/Blog/2006/11/02/... as it provides Shared, Reseller and Dedicated hosting solutions.

  4. http://www.hostmonster.com/track/kdiskco...

HostMonster is one of the Largest Providers out there, and they have reciently made all plans unlimited
