Unlocked AT&T Tilt or T-mobile Wing?

I have t-mobile and i'm not switching plans so I need to decide between a t-mobile Wing or an unlocked AT&T Tilt. Having t-mobile, would it be better to just get the t-mobile wing or is the AT&T tilt better even when it's unlocked?

And for those who don't know what unlocked phones are, they're phones that can be used with networks. For example, an unlocked AT&T Tilt can work with t-mobile even though it's an at&t phone.

  1. The Tilt is an amazing device and well worth the unlocked price. I personally like the fact that you can edit powerpoint, excel and word documents. Plus I find the tilting screen very convenient for setting it on your desk, kicking back and watching a video or surfing the web without having to hold it. The design feels natural in your hands, especially the large, full keyboard. TILT TILT TILT TILT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. I have a T-Mobile Wing myself. I am the type to mod my phone, and there aren't as many mods and ROMs for the Wing as there are for the TILT. Which isn't really a good thing. Well definitely if you Live in NY or NV, I would take the TILT, as the Wing isn't equipped with 3G equipment but just EDGE, while the TILT supports HSDPA/HSUPA and EDGE, not to mention GPS. Of course, T-Mobile has yet to further expand their 3G network, so you will be ready with the TILT. The TILT has a more powerful processor, and more on board memory both for storage and program, but the battery life on the TILT is worse than on the Wing, I am new to the smartphone world, so the Wing doesn't last as long as I would like, let alone the TILT, the Wing gets 4 hours of talk time and about 3-4 days of standby, TILT gets less, and when I use my Wing for writing word documents or doing what a smartphone, or even a regular phone is supposed to do, my battery goes down to 85% within 20 minutes. Though I prefer the Wing to build quality as opposed to the TILT. Overall, I would take the TILT.
