Question:

Unlocked/Unlockable iPhone 3G?

I've been looking on eBay for a cheaper iPhone 3G and noticed that many of them said that they were "Unlocked" or "Unlockable" Does this mean that I would be able to use it on a different plan such as sprint? If this is not what it means can someone please inform me on what it actually means. Please and Thank you.

  1. Unlocked phones can be used with different networks. But iPhone won't work on Sprint. Sprint is CDMA network and iPhone is a GSM phone, they're simply incompatible. The iPhone will only work on GSM networks like AT&T and T-Mobile in US. If you need unlocked iPhone, you can mail me or talk with me on Yahoo!
