Unlocking roads on wii cars

Question

can you unlock roads on the wii for cars?

when you have to find lizzies postcards i can see some behind the roads but i cant get to them, how do you get past the road signs?

on the cheat page for wii cars it says all tracks and mini games enter IF900HP
