Unmukt Chand, the Under-19 India captain who recently returned after a successful Asia Cup championship in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Malaysia-c2949, is feeling confident about his own progress and is hopeful of representing the national team in the near future.
Chand led his side to another Asia Cup triumph after scoring a brilliant 121 in final against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755. The match ended in a thrilling tie with both Asian Giants declared as the joint winners of the 2012 edition of the ACC Under-19 Championship.

scoring 370 at 74, including two centuries.

Despite achieving success at a young age, the 19-year-old is still not getting carried away and remains eager to perform in his dual role.
“When you score runs, there is bound to be some interest surrounding you - Captaincy is a responsibility, but it hasn’t put me under any pressure,” he said.
In April, the Asian Giants defeated the defending Under-19 World champions Australia during the Quadrangular Under-19 final in Australia. With the upcoming World Cup staged Down Under, Chand is confident in his side’s ability but quashed any suggestions
that they remain favourites.
“It is important for me and the team to stay focused and win the U-19 World Cup. We don’t want to put pressure on ourselves by thinking of the favourites tag or anything,” said Chand.
