I recently sold an item on ebay and on my terms for bidding stated that i should recieve payment 5 days after auction finish, anyway this is my 6th day waiting for payment i have sent them an invoice and also emailed them, but still haven't had word back i understand some people are unable to make this payment deadline but usually you get an email or something stating this and you sort it out, how long should i wait until i take this further?

  1. Email them once more and explain that your will relist item within 48 hours if no reponse has been made and that you will report them for non payment.

  2. You can't start an Unpaid Item Dispute for 7 days after the sale, so you could email them again and say something like, if you don't receive payment by (whatever date) you'll be starting a dispute to get your final value fee back.

If you've never raised a dispute before, there's info here on how to do it and what's involved

You'll probably find that the threat of a dispute (or the real thing, if you start one) will make the buyer pay you, but do bear in mind that although some people will try it on and give you all the excuses you can possibly think of, some can have genuine reasons for not getting in touch with you.

  3. of for feck sake contact the so called admin there and tell them to get there act together

  4. Email then and say if they ain't going to pay within 7 days, you'll report them and file a dispute. If they don't respond to the dispute, you get your insertion fee back and they get a bad mark against them

    hope this helps :)
