Unplugged tube from 1997 nissan altima

so i just changed my fuel filter from my car and there's a unplugged tube along with the mass air flow sensor wire, where does this belong to? i tries looking around to see if it plugs into anything?

  1. That tube is the breather tube for the transmission. One end connects to the trans and the other end doesn't connect to anything. You're good to go.
