Question:

Unrealistic fears of miscarriage?

I'm just over 9 weeks pregnant and am terrified of miscarriage. I've been feeling little to no pregnancy symptoms for the last few days (ie my nipples aren't terribly sore anymore and it seems like my face is clearing up). I've had no bleeding that would indicate miscarriage, but I get scared that the slightest thing could mean a miscarriage. Has anyone else started feeling better after 9 weeks of pregnancy? Is that normal?

  1. It is absolutely normal for symptoms to disappear after awhile. Your hormone levels are probably just stabilizing out for awhile. You'll be fine. If you have any absolute positive signs of miscarriage ie bleeding etc, then you should see a doctor asap. But it sounds as if everything is normal in your pregnancy sweetie. Relax, try not to worry so much about it.

  2. I felt that way initially, I think it's in the back of our minds at times, because you hear or so many heart-breaking stories about women who've had them.  I didn't really feel symptoms until two months into my pregnancy, but soon after I stopped having symptoms and was concerned about miscarriage.  I talked with my OB, she said it was common for symptoms to come and go.  I don't want to worry you more, but there are very rare occasions, when a woman stops feeling symptoms, a miscarriage could be impending.  Talk to your doctor for reassurance.

  3. Hi, I was fine with my first pregnancy, but earlier this year I had a miscarriage when we were trying for our second child, I got pregnant again immediately after the miscarriage and I was absolutely terrified that it was going to happen again, especially since I didn't have many symptoms and last pregnancy I had morning sickness and this one I didn't. Anyway, I didn't feel any better until after my scan at 13 weeks, when I saw the developed fetus and then a week later started to feel kicks. Once you get through the first trimester you will probably start to feel more confident, and especially once you can feel the baby you are more reassured. Congrats by the way : )

  4. Don't worry I never felt more healthier then while I was pregnant this was the best days!!!! it's normal not to be in any pain or your face is clearing up it's because your hormone are changing very very much I'll tell you something I used to have MIGRAINES every week 2-3 a week I had a very stressful job and when I became pregnant I never had morning sickness like the others and my nipples never hurt... my migraine stop right away so I kind of knew I was pregnant before I pass the test!! and now my baby is 8 months old and I had maybe 3 migraines...

Please do not think about miscarriage because it's not to good to stress over something you cannot predict or stop but think positively think that your one of the lucky one not to be in pain, usually if you would have a miscarriage it should happened before the 12 weeks. I had an ultrasound done at 10 weeks because I could bare with the idea of have an empty pouch it's called where there's no baby and you have a miscarriage but every thing was fine!!

Try to think about nice stuff that makes you laugh and be happy the baby feels everything that you feel... and if you haven't bleed at all by now I doubt you will have a miscarriages... try not to lift heavy stuff and push your self  to the limit do what you can and stop there, if you where doing exercise before you where pregnant still do it and if you want to start do it slower to begin!!!
