Unreceived invites?

I have sent over 15 invitations out to new mebers, but they are not receiving them. ANother moderator on the group also tried but nothing is going through. Please help

yahoo invites have been glitching for months- some get them, many do not and some providers consider them spam.

if your group is not closed membership- just send the link of your group directly in mail- they click- directs them to homepage and they can click the Join This Group tab on the right. if you have a closed group- you're in a spot.

you can go to management- under group activity click membershp- in the search field type in Invite- it will list all you had sent an invite to, confirming they in fact were sent

This is common - you are forgetting a step in the Invite process (I have listed as #6 below).

To invite members to your group:

1. Click Members in the list on the left side of any page.

2. In the upper right, click Invite People.

3. In the first box, enter the email addresses or Yahoo! IDs of the people you want to invite to your group, one per line. In the second box, write the text of the invitation you want them to see.

4. Click Submit Invite.

5. Preview your invite. If you'd like to edit it, click Edit.

6. If you'd like to send it, click "Invite People". <- the missing step!

You may invite up to 50 people at a time to your group.

Note: Only group owners or moderators with appropriate permissions (the ability to “Invite and add members”) can send invitations.

I've done it myself, clicked on Submit Invite and backed out!

Insure you click on "Invite People" so your potential members are invited!
