Question:

Unsolicited calls in Australia driving me crazy?

I work from home and use my phone primarily for business purposes. I am not able to register with the "do not call register" that the government has provided. Is there any other way that I can get my number delisted from these organisations. I get approximatly 3 calls a day, and always in the evening when I am relaxing. I usually hang up straight away as I can tell from the delay that it is from overseas and probably unsolicited. Sometimes I laugh manically at the caller to let off anger, or keep repeating "why" to the caller just for fun, but it is really an invasion of privacy. Any idea about how I can stop them?

  1. Call your Phone Company Provider to activate your Caller ID

So if any call you don't know ,you can see from your caller ID and do not answer them even Unknown number don't answer it.

Even you put your number do not call list still have some calls.

or hang up them that would do.

Or at night just  unplug  your phone from a wire while you taking a rest so you won't hear any ring from your phone.

    CALLER ID would help you.
