Unsubscribing a yahoo group

Question

i have already un subscribed a yahoo group (bogelindah) but still I am receiving mails from the group. i have tried a number of ways but it didnt work. there is a option in the mail to un subscribe which i have also tried, but of no use? please help me. I want to continue the use of the mail id as all the important friends & other person are connected through this mail id only.

This will definitely work for you.  

Go to the group's home page.

Click "Edit Membership" near top of page.

Scroll down toward bottom of page and click "Leave Group".

On the next page that comes up, Click "Leave Group".

*You will then receive a private email from Yahoo to verify that you are wanting to leave the group. Click "Reply", then click "Send". You will then be instantly removed from that group. You might receive a few more messages from that group, then they will stop coming to your email address.

Try this: Go to the group's site, click on edit membership along the top. In the next window scroll down and check leave group Click save changes and you should be out. It may take a day to take effect.
