Unsubscribing from a Yahoo group and still getting emails?

Question

I joined a group and didn't like it after a few days. So I unsubscribed from it. Two weeks later I'm still getting the daily messages from the group.

I contacted the list owner and had no reply, my email box is filling up. Does it take awhile or do I need to do something else?

Sometimes it can take a few days for the notice to go thru that you unsubscribed.

Also, to unsubscribe you can try from your e-mail address if you haven't already.  Send an e-mail to the address that will look something like this: [e-mail]

maybe the unsub didn't go all the way through. log onto the group and click edit membership atop of the group near title- scroll way down and way to the right and click unsub- I think another page loads to ask if you're sure

if you unsubbed through mail, it takes much longer for it to go through

For some reason your unsubscribe did not go through.

This is the most effective and instant way to unsub from the group:

Sign in to the group that you want to leave.

Near top of page, click "Edit Membership".

Scroll down to bottom of screen and click "Leave Group".

You will be asked if you are sure you want to leave the group.  Click on "Leave Group".

You will be instantly unsubscribed from the group at that point.  You might receive a few more messages from that group, then no more will be mailed to you.
