i'm no scientist, but there's one called 'schrodingers cat'. something to do with observing events at a quantum level. i'm sure you'll find out more if you google it.

A lot of theories in quantum mechanics, check it out on Wikipedia.

EDIT: Good 'ol Schroedinger's cat is not one of them, that is provable through experimentation.
