Until Winning seeking revenge against Hollow Penny in Follow Us On Twitter @LingfieldPark Novices´ Hurdle
Until Winning will be looking to upset Hollow Penny in the Follow Us On Twitter @LingfieldPark Novices´ Hurdle at Lingfield in England on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. The latter of the two runners seems to be in great shape and it will be difficult to overcome
him at this level.
Due to this, he has been rated as the outright favourite to succeed in the class-4 contest. He has been given a general starting price of 4 to 6 by the bookmakers and the punters will be hesitant to risk many bets against him.
There has been a lot of rain at Lingfield, but that will not affect the chances of Hollow Penny, as he has been under identical circumstances before as well. He finished as a runner up in his penultimate outing on a soft ground, which shows that he will
be relatively comfortable at the end of the day.
However, the going has become heavy today, which will be a new experience for the young stallion. He certainly has the potential to cope up with such conditions, but things will not be easy enough for him, as the overall distance to cover will be 2 miles,
3 furlongs and 110 yards.
This means that all of the runners will have to be extra careful, as there will be a lot of stress on their legs. The action is scheduled to kick off at 13:30 GMT and the winner will be given a cash prize of £2,669 in the end.
Hollow Penny does not have a lot of experience, but he is carrying a pretty decent momentum right now, which will give him the confidence of shining in today’s race. He finished as a runner up in the first couple of races of his career and then followed
that up with a victory over hurdles.
That success came against Until Winning, who will be looking to avenge his defeat this time around. Things will not be easy for him though, as he was unable to come anywhere closer last time around.
However, the Tom George’s trainee has the potential to be competitive under these conditions and he will look to turn the tables under jockey, Paddy Brennan.
