Unusable signal. when i try to watch a dvd i go to channel 00 like usual but now its saying

when i try to watch a dvd i go to channel 00 like usual but now its saying unusable signal. i can hear audio but no video. i already checked wires to make sure everything plugged in correctly. no manual.don't know what to do about unusable signal everytime I try to play a DVD.
