Unusual amount of paranormal encounters in my life?

for as long as i can remember ive had encounters on a regular basis with things that seem otherworldy. ive seen an apparition walk past the doorway of our kitchen every night at exactly 11:02, ive heard childrens voices from the attic and smelled a very strong vanilla scent up there since we moved in which my mom and sister both claim they dont smell but i mean its clear as can be. ive also had a fully closed bathroom door open when ive been home alone. on top of that i awoke 3 seperate times to open my eyes and see a dark shadowy figure over me and the worst case of goose bumps imaginable. then at my old house i had many different encounters and at 2 friends houses as well. one while spending the night we went for a hike through his wood and i saw something white parallel with us but there was no oneand it was night time. then the other while house sitting the door began to shake and the dogs went crazy like someone was there but no one. could all these experiences mean anything?

Like you I have had numerous encounters.  Some people are more open and accepting of paranormal experiences and so that kind of makes you a prime target so to speak.  Some may call this a gift while others may call it a curse depending on how you look at it.  Like you, I can truly say that sometimes it's what I would call extremely scary.  Maybe your job is to help or to learn, who knows.  Best of luck to you.

For one thing I truly believe you and what you are saying and what you have seen.  One thing, someone else said it to, DON'T believe anyone who says you are crazy or that you have an overactive imagination because that is a lie and those lies and jokes come from the ignorance of them not even knowing what they are telling you.  Not many who say these things cannot back up the truth that what is happening to you is just a gift of Paranormal Activity.

     I have that gift and I know many others that are like we are.  I would not be afraid of what you see as they feed off of your fear and that can make matters a little more intense for you.

     Just accept what you see and go on from there.   These kinds of gifts are to help us and more importantly to help others.  My husband and I live in a haunted house.  I have seen a little girl around 4 years old and she told the children I did childcare for that her name is Lilly and that her sister is here also.  I have never seen her sister, but 3 different people who don't even know each other has asked me who is the girl that looks to be around 12 or 13 standing at your door  just starring out and everyone has given the same exact story and what she looks like.

    We have tried to get both of the girls to go into the light but they are afraid that their dad will be there. Lilly has spoken to the children several times and some of the kids have never even met as I have been in childcare for over 30 years and since we have lived here for 10 years and we know it is haunted, I do not tell the children, they come to me and tell me the story of Lilly and her sister and their mother and what the dad did to all the of them.  I never tell them that they are lying or have a big imagination.  That is when I tell them about the Paranormal with every childs parents approval. They are not afraid when they see things and they know that they have special gifts also.  It is usually around the age of 2 or 3 that the stories start coming to me from them and so they are learning at an early age that they are not crazy and that there will be people who will make fun of them and laught at them and call them names but just ignore them and walk away from them.  The white image you saw is called a Shadow Person.  They are not going to hurt you.  You just have some ghosts or spirits trying to connect with them as many don't even know they are dead.  We tell them they have died and it is time to pass on into the light.  Some do  choose not to go for whatever reason but you don't have to be afraid of them. I have so many pics that I or someone else has taken that have apparitions and orbs and mists.  So, my answer to you is chill out and find a good and honest and caring Paranormal Group to hook up with.  I belong to a wonderful Paranormal Group.  I love the work that we do when we get a call or an E-Mail from someone who needs help.  Your okay and just accept who you are and get in touch with honest paranormal  group or friends.

Possibly due to my upbringing as well as my own paranormal encounters as a child and teenager, I believe that there are individuals who are able to sense their presence.

I think some people are more prone to encountering paranormal activity. Right now, many scientists don't believe in the existence of paranormal or otherworldly experiences because something like this can't be proved realistically in reality.

I believe that in every property or certain places, spirits linger because they were somehow trapped in that place during their passing or choose to stay there hoping someone could help them pass over in life. Because they have things they need to do before they can go to heaven or reincarnate, they remain in the 'human world' hoping to complete that final wish.

If these apparitions and spirits don't harm you or cause you sickness, it's safe for you and your family. If you are disturbed by these encounters, you can seek religious figures depending on your belief to help you deal with such experiences.

From what you are explaining, you have several things going on there all at once.  The movement you see at 11:02 every night is residual.  It does not know or see you...its just like a movie that replays every night at the same time.  You will never have any interaction with it.  It came with the property.  Phantom smells are not proof positive of a haunting, although they are associated in some cases.  A good example is that when I was young, my grandmother used to make tea cakes for us kids.  We loved them alot and would have her make them if she had not already.  She stored them in her pie safe. After she died the pie safe passed onto a member of my family.  I spent the night and during the night I woke to the smell of those tea cakes.  It was the next day when I mentioned the smell that I discovered that the pie safe was there in the house.  Was that paranormal..prolly not.  Just comforting.

Now it seems to me that if you are seeing figures in and out of the new home you live in, you may be sensitive.  Most likely you have stumbled upon a place with alot of residual activity.  Bear in mind that when the earth was formed that only so much dry land was involved.  Things that have happened on any property, good or bad, leaves imprints that never go away.

You could try to capture this things on video tape.  But from what you have said, there is nothing there that is going to bother you.

Don't be worried abut thse experiences. Spirits can't harm you they are just letting you know that they are there.

Wow!  I completely believe that there are beings out there who cannot pass on and also there are people out there that can sense this.  Don't let others tell you your crazy or imagining things, follow your instincts and your intuition.  I absolutely have had instances where I've seen things, but never like what you've experienced.  

I also believe that animals and children can sense things that we've been taught to ignore, that's why the dog was going crazy.  My middle daughter used to sit up in her crib and look up to this one corner all the time when she was an infant (even when I would hold her in the rocking chair).  I would see her actually interacting with something that I couldn't see.  I would just let her continue and ask her things like "are you talking to grandpa" or something like that.  We have guardian angels and things that look over us and I totally welcome it.

I wouldn't necessarily be afraid unless things start getting a bit worse, like items being thrown at you.  Good luck to you!
