Unusual device on roof... Can someone identify what this is?

Well for various reasons, I want to find out what this thing is on the roof. I don't think it's a camera but then again I guess it could be? I just find it kind of peculiar.

it totally looks like a camera to me ~ it looks pointed at something, and doesn't look like a cable box....hmmm...

It's something wireless anyway.  That wire sticking up from it is an antenna.  It could be a camera but that wouldn't be my first choice.  It could be a wireless sensor of some kind, maybe for a weather station.  Is this your house?  If so, take the thing down and examine.  If not, I guess you'll have to do a little research and see if you can identify it.  I couldn't find anything that looked like it in wireless cameras or wireless weather stations.
