Unusual logo found on badge?

I have I found these badges under my floorboards and I would like to know what they represent or mean. They have a bald eagle flying and above there is a logo similar to that of the underground, yet the logo does not join at the ends so it looks more like an ‘S’ with a line through it. Does anybody have an idea as to what it represents?

It looks familiar, I have seen something similar...

I think it may be an Air Training Cadet or Sea Cadet training badge...

Keep us updated if you do find out for sure though :)

Perhaps it has to do with the "secret" US Space Command, There are people on duty in "unknown" to us, literal space ships, which ply the area between here and the moon and mars, undoubtedly for military purposes; but "against" who?  :)))

It appears to be some type of military insignia.  However, due to the reflected light I was unable to distinguish the area that appeared to be red.  Would be interesting to know just what you did find and how they got under the floor boards.  I like the others would love to learn more about it.  Hope you find an answer.
