Unusual squealing?

Question

I have a pet Chinchilla her name is paige. I have been up very late lately and I was hearing her squeal after drinking her water. I wanted to know if this was normal and if its not if I should take her to the vet.

have you noticed any change in her eating or drinking habbits besides this noise?  It's possible it could be gas if she's doing it right after she drinks.  If she's showing other signs like loosing hair or maybe her teeth are too long...she should be taken to a vet.  Also, check her throat, softly (on the outside lol) feel for lumps and possible obstructions.  If you're really worried, just take her to the vet anyway..it won't hurt anything but your pocket.  And to be on the safe side, sometimes that's not such a horrible thing.
