Unusually thick tires: Info?

Question

The other day I saw a kid/guy like a teenager riding a bike, and his back bike tire was almost double or triple the width of a regular bike tire. It was really awesome. It was like half the width of the tires in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U52UnHDzUgM at 1:44 or 1:45. Does anyone know what they are called or where I can buy them?

... those are car tires on an atv... not a bike.

thick bike tires are a standard for real mountain bikers
