Unwanted Callers?

We get quite a few unwanted callers such as i will sell u a kitchen, youve won ne kitchen etc. we ave TPS but is there any other free service that we can register to aswel?

TPS is about as useful as a chocolate tea pot!!!!! Not even a block on witheld numbers works because it doesn't block calls from abroad like INDIA!!!!!!!!

Contact BT. Explain that you have TPS and still receiving the calls. They can give you a number that you have to dial as soon as you receive a call from an unwanted caller. This will block the caller in future.

The service that you want is called choose to refuse if you are a BT customer then call 0800 800 150 and the sales adviser will sort it for you.

You can change your phone options whereby your phone will only accept listed numbers. These companies never list their numbers and so will all be refused. I cant remember the name of the system but your phone company will do this for free.

kitchen's, conservatory, loft conversions and god d**n mobile phones??????????????????????

sign up on the national do not call list, it take 60-90 days to go into effect once it does telemarketers are fined for calls they make to numbero n that list, it is against Federal Law For them to call you once you are on it

Just tell them you've got a council house, they won't want to know you after that! Also, another good one is when they ask to speak to Mr or Mrs whoever, say hang on a sec I'll just fetch them and then just leave them hanging on the phone!
