i have an hd dvd player and a 720p hdtv, is a hd dvd better than an upconverted regular dvd?

  1. Yes HD is better then up converting, Up converting just boost the signal where as HD is recorded as a much higher rate. however if you don't have an HD TV you won't see any differences. Running at 720P my self I see a big difference botween the two
