I have a version 1.1.4 software for my ipod touch. When i got it, i jailbreaked it. Now there is an update (1.1.5). I was wondering, if i update my ipod, will i have to re jailbreak my ipod and reinstall all the apps? Because i have many apps and wouldnt want to reinstall them all.

  1. DO NOT update to 1.1.5. a lot of your apps won't work anymore.. especially summerboard or customize. a lot of apps arent compatible for 1.1.5 yet. i use to have 1.1.5 but then i had to downgrade it to 1.1.4 to use the apps again

  2. You'd have to rejailbreak your ipod and reinstall the apps. Make sure theres a jailbreak for 1.1.5 before you update though.

  3. yes, you would have to restore and rejailbreak your ipod. however, i wouldn't recommend it just yet because summerboard and customize are very buggy on 1.1.5 and not fully compatible. stick with 1.1.4 for a little while.
