Update on IRS Reference 1121!!!?

Question

All, I have been on delayed refund (code 1121) for two months and I just had my refund direct deposited today. I think this well help those who are still in the same boat. They did not even require information from me. Also, they do not update the "where's my refund" status on their website. Mine still says delayed refund even if they deposited my refund. Goodluck to everyone and I hope my story will give you hope.

thanks,i'm in that boat as well,but i called the irs and they told me my refund will be mailed on june 6th,so i kept checking my status to see if it's been updated yet but it still says delayed,i'm sure it'll be mailed on the 6th b/c i called again just to see if i'll get the same date and i did but the website still says delayed.

The IRS website is seldom, if ever, of any help.  You do not want to wait for 15-30 minutes, so here are a few numbers to get through to a live representative.  Get their name and 7 digit ID number.  Some  are rude, and you will want to turn them in to IRS auditors, etc.  Then call back.  Often times, on the second try, you will get a nice one.

You have a few choices:  Try calling IRS at 800-829-0582 X 462,hold for about 10 minutes and you will talk to a live person.  If that doesn't work, call 1-866-234-2942, option 2 then option 3, hang on and you will get a human to speak to.  Further:  From the IRS: Taxpayers without internet access can check the status of their refunds by calling the IRS TeleTax System at 800-829-4477 or the IRS Refund Hotline at 800-829-1954.  The TeleTax refund information is updated each weekend. If you do not get a date for your refund, please wait until the next week before calling back.  If this doesn't work, call 1-800-829-3676.
