General Update:Vet saw the mares Monday. Said they are generally in good condition. Said the grey is about 7 years old and needs to gain around 50 lbs. The chestnut is about 11 years old (I was told 8) and needs to gain about 75 lbs.I did speak with the stable manager and he and his wife said they would be on the lookout for my cousin when he is there and will call me if/when he tries to ride either of my horses if I am not there.I have started letting them out in the pasture in the daytime now that they have been at the stables for a week. They love it out there. Now I just have to get them to want to come back in!The farrier came Tuesday and trimmed their hooves. He said they were in very good condition considering they had been neglected. I lunged them this morning for just a few minutes. Just wanted them to start getting used to commands and being worked with. Each did well. Will have to work on whoa with the grey, she doesn't want to stop. Will have to work on
