Update on "legal secretary asking for raise"

This is just an update on my question i posted a month ago see link for original post

It worked and it is possible to get a raise even in this economy. I was asked to give my boss a # and I said 41k but eventually got approved for 40k. Just wanted to give others hope and encourgement that I did not really get first time around. IT can be done. Good luck to all.

I really in all honesty did not think you would get the raise.  Good for you for standing up for yourself.  Congratulations!!!!
