Update problem with symantec antivirus

Question

when i installed symantec antivirus it's will be show me this error.
(IDS program updates has 1 aborted update ....Reason: LU1848: this product was not update due to a processin error:)
and 1 message also appear to my window..(file system auto protect is malfunctioning) how i solve this issue......plz somebudy help me...
