Updated information on the 2009 Mazda3 (e.g., release date)

Question

First, I'm fully aware that the Mazda3 will not be remodeled for 2009. Still, I'd like to know when they will be released.

There have been several similar questions on here, but there really have not been any definitive answers. I put an order in for a 2009 model the other day but the sales manager wasn't even sure about the date. I've heard everything from the end of August to sometime in December.

Surely there are some Mazda representatives out there that have a solid date. Like I said, my order has been placed, so I really can't wait!

Also, if anyone has any other information about the 2009 models (like new features, things that have been removed, etc.), please let me know!

I ordered mine June 30 and the sales guy couldn't guarantee I'll be getting a 2009 even though I'm pretty sure I must be, since they estimated delivery of October/November.  I've heard September for the month the next model year hits the lots, although I'm not sure how accurate that is.

The sales guy mentioned that he thought heated side mirrors were a possibility on the 2009 Grand Touring model, but again, he wasn't sure and wouldn't promise anything.

-no more Icy Blue Metallic color;

-the iSport receives standard ABS and side airbags; and

-all the sedans except the iSport will have a trunk release button on the remote (iSport doesn't have it because it doesn't have keyless entry).
