I recently moved so I need to update my passport, because my old one has my old address. Will I need to pay a fee? And do I need to get new pictures taken too? thanks!

  1. Canadian passports for adults 16 years of age or older are good for five years from their date of issue and changing your address does not invalidate it.  According to Passport Canada's website (see link below), all you need to do is cross out your old address and write your new one in the space provided.  Do not use correction fluid such as Liquid Paper or White Out.  You also do not need to get new pictures if the expiry date has not yet passed.
