Question:

Upgrade processor on ALI 1541 motherboard

Hi,I have an IBM Aptiva 2153 E2U with an AMD k-6 2 333Mhz processor. I want to upgrade to AMD K-6 500 Mhz. I have plugged in the new processor but I think I have configured it wrong. When the system boots up it registers as 333 Mhz.Please advise.
