Upgraded hard drive using norton ghost?

Question

I was confused on the partition stuff and hit primary partition when I wanted logical partition. So now I have a 500 GB drive that has about 40 GB in one partition and the rest unallocated. Is there an easy way to just make the whole thing one partition. I don't think I care to have a boot partition and all that I just want it all together. Or could this be a good thing, allowing me to start more quickly?

If there's no data at risk, you should start over, it's neater,and neatness counts when it comes to future crashes, etc.  

Did you use an image from the same model/make of PC?  If not, then install the chipset drivers or you'll get confusing crashes after a few boots.
