  1. Bottom line:  motherboard changed config so digital management rights (DRM) must be updated to reflect the new configuration:

I assume you are using WMP (windows media player) 11, if not you should be.

After you do this,  if Yahoo Music Jukebox(YMJ) starts, you'll need to reacquire your licenses for the downloaded stuff.  You should be ok on the paid (burnable) stuff.  If not, you may have to run a Yahoo! utility to correct your YMJ stuff (contact Yahoo! support).  Also make sure you are at the latest level of YMJ (2..2.2.056).

Let me know what happens (add details under your Question).

I was hoping that replacing the DRM file would allow YMJ to open without crashing.  I personally think this is a bug in YMJ and the software should issue a message instead of aborting (if I recall correctly, it is a memory access exception).  I still believe you should contact Yahoo! to get instructions to correct the YMJ problem.  Good luck and thank you very much for the excellent feedback.  :)

  2. You may need to reinstall those programs, or best, the operating system. Your programs probably are not configured for your sound card.
