I have a larger projection tv with a huge cabinet surrounding it. My very skinny son can fit and get to the back of things when plugging and unplugging stuff. will the installer do that? or do I have to do something?

  1. no they'll go back there or figure out how, it's their job...and they'll more than likely try and charge you for the install...but try to get that waived....someone will do it for you...they're notorious though for every one of their representatives giving you a different answer...so you may have to make a few calls...good luck with the service....mine's always been terrible....if you have time type in "hate comcast" to google, there's 1000's of horrible comcast experiences

  2. You will probably have to pay for them to install it. Usually if you are just getting a new box/dvr you pick it up from them or they mail it and you hook it up yourself.

  3. I have the same service.  It's only a matter of switching out the box and the HDMI cable.  They will take care of it.

You  will be disappointed with the amount of HD programing you can record before the DVR fills up.
