  1. You should turn off and unplug your computer first.  Install the new memory card, then restart your computer.  It should  recognize the additional memory and that's it!

    Good Luck,

  2. Put the new RAM in and your done. Just make sure your operating system is running in a 64 bit environment, otherwise you will not be able to take advantage of the additional RAM.

  3. that's but as the first guy said. less you have a 64 bit OS, the unit will only see 3.2 gigs of memory.

therego the term 32 bit os.

  4. Just put the new ram sticks in and turn your computer back on. But you probably want to use a static guard when working with a computers internal parts because if you shock it with static electricity it's done.

Your computer is a beast. Can I have it?? I have an intel celeron 2.4gHz and 512 mb of ram, upgradable to 2gb
