Upgrading the sinnoh pokedex?

i need to upgrade my pokedex, but not to national. i need to see the forms of pokemon so i can upgrade to national

To get the form upgrade on the Pokedex,you have to get 5 badges and go to Canalave city.Professor Rowan will have and assistant waiting for you at the gate.He will upgrade your Pokedex so you can see forms of female and male Pokemon.
