Uploading a picture on here??

Question

How or where do i upload a real picture on here instead of an avatar, i go to edit profile and i dont see any links or anything? am i blind? haha. thanks!

The way you can do it is to create a Yahoo 360 profile and use the picture from there..

When you edit your profile you get to choose between No Picture, Picture from Yahoo 360 or Avatar..

1st  create a 360 space at http://360.yahoo.com . Now start creating your 360 space from there. Click the big yellow "Get Started" button on the far right section of that page.

After that, you can log in by by clicking on the  "Sign-in" button on the upper left of the page. Then, the page refreshes and click on "Yahoo 360 Home" link on the upper right of the page to get into the 360 page.

Make sure that your picture is  a JPEG formatted photo under 5MB.

*Click your "My Page" link at the top

* Click "Edit Profile Photos" over the empty picture frame

* Click "Browse" and upload photo from your computer's folder.

Then click on "use as primary"  button on the right before saving.

You can upload only  5 profile pictures (including an avatar).

Now, come back to Yahoo Answers. Click the "My Profile" link to the upper right of this Yahoo Answers page, then click "Edit My Info" in the top left box on the Answers profile page. Scroll down to the image section and check the option of showing the 360 picture. Click Preview and then the OK button.

if u mean to upload a photo u hav2 hav the photo u want as ur default on yahoo 360 (should only take a min.) do tht by uploading it on ur yahoo 360 acc if u don't hav 1 create won't take long. then on yahoo ansers clik my profile then edit and u can select tht pic.

TO GET A PHOTO/CUSTOM PICTURE AS YOUR AVATAR.

If you want a photo/custom picture as your avatar you need to make a yahoo 360 account. http://360.yahoo.com/login.html?.done=ht...

The photo needs to be saved on your computer as a jpg file, don't worry about the size to much yahoo will adapt it.

1> Click "my page” (top of page).

2> Click "edit personal photo" (on the left above photo window).

3> Click “browse” choose the photo from your photos click "save", Set as primary and "save".

4> Go to your “edit my profile” http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit click “use my yahoo 360 picture” scroll down and press "preview", and then "OK" in the next screen.

And your done.

Some users are experiencing a problem with the avatar showing or appearing and disappearing, since yahoo upgraded the site and continue with the work. You may need to load the avatar again and check the settings. It can take some time to show but it will eventually so try to be patient.
