Uploading a picture to my html site.?

Question

I have tried uploading my html site now the whole day but, when i upload wiht filezilla to my website host, and puting the html and pictures the pictures wont show up?

And i made the site wiht nvu.

How can i make so the pictures show up?

Don't forget that addresses in HTML are relative. If a page has a reference to x*x.jpg then the picture must be located in the same directory as the web page. If the reference is to pictures/x*x.jpg then the picture must be in the pictures folder in the same directory as the web page. Make sure the pictures were uploaded and you are not trying to reference a location in your computer.
