Uploading photos from my cell phone onto computer?

ok so i want to take pictures from my phone, and add them to my laptop, so I can upload them on myspace. I already have the USB cord, and please don't tell me to email them. I just want a faster way. Like what do I have to do, when i plug in the USB, it doesn't do anything. Can anybody just like help me out, what do I have to do, I guess like a walkthrough...THANKS ALOT TO ANYBODY THAT HELPS!!

I am also looking for this information. I have motorola krazer. The software someone told about costs $35. Is there no other way to download a few photos from the phone? If I find anything out, I will post here. If someone knows please help.

It depends on the Make/Model of your phone. For instance...If you have a Motorola phone. There is software available that's called Motorola Phone Tools, which would allow you to do that.
