Ups and downs of becoming a Foster parent?

I was wondering if anyone on here is a foster parent/ knows a foster parent. My husband and I were thinking of doing this in a year or so when our children are a little older. Is there certain critera for this? What about education? We are just middle class people, do we get help?

We truely love children (I am a certified daycare provider), and this may be something were interested in....

I did foster care for 2 1/2 years and went through 30 kids. Its rewarding and stressful at the same time. anyone can do it if you have the room and another source of income. (and your not a pedophile) boys around 5 are really difficult!If your doing it for the money its not worth it, otherwise it can be fun!
