Upscale 720p hdtv to 1080p?

How do I upscale my 26in sanyo 720p hdtv into 1080p? I know there's a way to do it becuase Wal-mart have like a little box behind a 19in hdtv that upscaled it to 1080p! Please help me

You cannot upscale your 720p Sanyo into 1080p.  It is not possible.  Your 720p Sanyo has a native resolution of about 720x1280.  In order to see watch a 1080p source, you need a monitor that has a resolution of 1080x1920.

Now are you taking about downscaling a 1080p source to watch on you Sanyo 720p?  Most sources can be adjusted for different output rates including 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p.  If you buy a blu-ray player, it can be adjusted for a 720p signal.  The same is true for your cable box and satellite box.

You can't upscale a 720p HDTV to 1080p, it's just not possible. You will need to buy a HDTV 1080p
