my last 3 were home births and i cant face going to hospital

the reasons have been given are that this might happen that might happen its all mights,

i have always said i would go to hospital if baby or me were at risk but so far there is is no reason to believe there are risks all the other pregnancies and births were problem free

would anyone fight to have it of just give in and have it at hospital?

  1. I would ask your doctor why they suggest you have your baby in the hospital. It could be various reasons as, it's your 6th baby and your body might not be able to handle it, or age, or maybe there could be something wrong with the baby. But like I said, just ask. If there is no serious medical reason, I would just have the baby at home :)

  2. If your midwife feels that you can't have a home birth then she must have a good reason.  You're better off being safe than sorry if she feels that there is potential for problems during the birth.  If you really are dead set against the hospital, then consult a different midwife.   But, if she says the same thing then you have to trust that they know what they are doing and you're better off in a hospital.

  3. if there is no immediate danger to you or your baby i dont see why you cant have it at home. If its something that you want and they are giving you no medical reasoning why you cant I would push it for sure. Good luck.

  4. I would fight for it

I don't see why you can't have it at home

  5. If that's what you really want, can't you find another midwife that does home births?  There is no law requiring you to go to the hospital and there are some women who give birth with no medical personnel present.  Now, honestly, this is not something I would recommend and I actually prefer to be in a hospital because then I have that peace of mind.  But, if you prefer home births and have had positive experiences with that, seek out another provider.  Unless there is a really good reason, I don't see why it can't be the way you want.  Good luck!

  6. i would fight for it.

if there are no good reasons so far as to why u have to have baby at hospital then i cant see why u cant have another home birth?

  7. yeah fight for it. also consider contraception

  8. i would go to hospital i am having number 5 and have been told that they want to put a canula in so they have an access point to give me blood if needed as the more babies you have the greater the risk of a hemmorage even though i have had no previous complications

  9. well if the reasons were mights, i personally wouldnt risk it. i fought to give birth in a birthing centre with only midwives, when in labour things took a turn for the worst and i had to be moved 25miles away to consultant care. i could have fought to stay where i was. if i had, my daughter would not have been born alive. i accepted that i was not medically trained like these people and they were only trying to help me and my baby. im glad i listened.
