im 13 and need an uptempo song for an audition

Hmm since you are auditioning for Disney Channel, I would suggest something "Disney". I don't know how you feel about High School Musical, but maybe there's something in those two movies that you like. Also maybe something from Camp Rock. You should also consider something from classical Disney, like from a princess movie or something.

And good luck! I sent in my resume and headshot yesterday, I hope I get an audition!  =)

What are you auditioning for? What vocal range are you (Alto/Mezzo/Soprano)?

Okay well then you definitely need to do a similar style song. I would recommend looking up "Radio Disney" Artists and songs and doing something by one of those groups. This includes Hilary Duff, Cheetah Girls, Jump5, etc.

Oh and "The Beach" would be fine if it shows off your voice!
