Okay so I'm considering purchasing the Urban Decay Primer Potion but the fact that, that little bottle is worth $15-16 is beyond me. I know its a miracle worker, It make my eyeshadow last long and so on but I'm still not willing to do it.I know call me cheap if you will. Anyways I was just wonder are there any alternatives that work just as well or better than the Urban Decay Primer Potion?

  1. well, i use UDPP religously, and i swear by it. i promise you that it is soo worth the money. and trust me, i do not like to spend my money either girl! but on something as spectacular as that, i will : )

now, if you do decide to buy it, most definatly watch this video-

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cq4d0VnBL...

urban decay has made the bottle this funny shape, so when you think you finished the udpp, there is actually still a ton left! even more product then you thought you were paying for! : )

sooo yeah, hope that helped you decide to buy it! : )

if it didnt, then L'Oreal HiP (drugstore brand) makes something similar, its called something like eyeshadow extender or something?

anyways, its the same idea, it just doesnt work as good.. lol : )

soooo yeah, hope that helps! : )

  2. Im glad not only i think that this product is so expensive !

    lol

It is but its worth the money ! You only use a lil bit so the bottle will actually last you a while!

    :)

  3. Its a WONDERFUL product. Last night I got on You Tube and watched a video on how you can get more of the primer out of the bottle by cutting the bottle in half with a knife and spooning it out into your on container. Pay the 16 dollars on Sephora.com or go to a sephora store. I havent found anything that I like better than their eyeshadow primer.

  4. There are definitely alternatives out there that work well, but the ones I know of run for just about the same price. A brand called Too Faced sells a product called "Shadow Insurance" that I like. It's really easy to blend on and still keeps your eyeshadow in place. It costs about $17, so you wouldn't be saving money there. Also you can try MAC Paints or Paint Pots as a base under your eyeshadow to bring out colors and they're $16.50. So, there are a lot of alternatives out there, but they're generally around that price anyway. Good luck!

  5. i'm not sure if they sell something similar to that in drugstores, but honestly it's a really good product but the only problem is that it finishes very quickly. even though it may be a lot of money, try to save up for it because i think it's worth it while it lasts :)

  6. I'm not sure if it will work quite as well as the Urban Decay product, but most people just buy a cream eyeshadow (like a neutral, beige, or tan color) and apply that before the other colors, it'll work as a base, and it should help the eyeshaodw apply nicely, and stay on longer.

  7. well UDPP is expensive but you only need to use a little bit..it works wonders, i swear. If you only use a small amount, then it should last for quite some time
