Urban Foxes are they a good thing?

An urban fox is a fox that lives in the town or city attracted by the abundance of food

It does not matter if we think they are a good thing or not.

They have intrinsic value for what they are, not what they can do for people or if people appreciate them. People are not superior to other living things and non living systems, we just think we are.

It has both pro's and cons

Lots of people love foxes and leave food for them. They'll brighten anyones day with a visit ^_^

however a lot of people DON"T like foxes and try to kill them. There is also the chance of rapid or sick foxes attacking people

It all depends on if you like them or not really, but I think people shoudl put some effort into coexisting with animals

I think it is a good thing.  With most animals we cause major problems by changing their environment.  Foxes are on of the few that has adapted to the change.  That is what it takes for a species to survive.  There are still plenty of country foxes also.  They can survive either way.

I`m assuming your refering to the 4 legged urban foxes as opposed to the 2 legged urban foxes.

I don`t see any benefit to having wild animals in such close proximity to humans.
