  4. We have a train tussle and it supposedly haunted b/c of teens falling off of it or getting hit by a train, or people jumping because of personal problems.

There is also goat man. Supposedly, a boy and his goat were on the other feuding family's land and both got killed. Now, people say that there is a half boy, half goat monster thing.

There is also of course Waverley Hills. It was a TB hospitial until the early 1900s. Now, people say that there are tons of ghosts there.

    Now, I'm getting goose bumps!

  5. The curse of William Penn. None of our professional teams have won the highest championship (super bowl, world series, NBA finals, etc) since the first building that was taller than city hall was erected.

Back in the day, I think it was law that no building could be taller than the statue of william penn, who's statue sits atop of city hall.

  6. one that EVERYONE in houston knows is the haunting of 'the spaghetti warehouse' . it's in downtown houston and it's haunted by a guy who fell down the elevator shaft...a lot of people have said they have seen him and it's a restaurant so sometimes utensils fly, plates break and the sinks in the restrooms turn on and off by themselves.

  7. I live in galion, Ohio, USA and the myth is that this old house (now owned by the historical society and open for tours) called brownella cottage is inhabited by the ghost of the preacher/pastor/bishop or something like it that the house was built for. Mostly in the place where his office was.

  8. In my moms neighborhood the neighbors say there is a ghost that walks at 2am on the dot everynight. She used to leave around there and she used to love taking walks after she died everyone has seen her walking. One day my sister and couldn't sleep decided to take a walk so at 1:58 we ran back home because we didn't want o ran into her.

  9. I live in San Francisco. Across the Bay in Berkeley in the 1930's, a man in a car saw a girl with an armload of books standing at the trolley stop after they had quit running. He offered to take her home, since it could be dangerous for a girl to be out alone so late. She told him her father was a professor at UC and gave him an address at the edge of campus. Then, she entered the car and sat in the back seat. When he reached the address she gave, he turned and saw she was gone, but her books were on the seat. He went to the house to return the books. The professor arose at last and came to the door. He told the man that his daughter was killed by a hit and run driver at the spot where he saw her standing several years earlier and that many men had tried to bring her home. The books she had were missing from the bookcase. A similar tale is set in 1920's Los Angeles 405 miles south of San Francisco. Miyuki is from japan and has heard ancient and modern versions of this "Vanishing Hitch Hiker" type of UL.

  10. Well, this is pretty well known, but the Jersey devil originates from my area in New Jersey.

  11. umm well there is this creepy house in our town that they say no one lives there, but supposedly the curtains move and theres some dead woman ghost in a white dress that goes on the porch or something. haha i dont really remember i mightve made that up

  12. So there once was a bus full of school children, the kids were like 5 or 6 years old. They were driving over some train tracks when the bus got stuck. Train didn't stop, the bus driver and all the little kids died.

People have tried this: if you drive over to that spot, park your car on the tracks, the ghosts of the kids will push the car, not wanting you to have the same fate they had. if you put white powder on the back of the car, you'll see tiny little hand prints on the car.

  13. Masaki from shonan. He's the creater of the midnight angels.
