Identify 3 causes and effects caused by urbanization. How do the causes and effects relate to the enviroment?

    also people want to live "where the action is" and stuff..

    effects.. all the dead birds on the sidewalks downtown at 3 in the morning.. most cities pay people to clean them up before morning

    massive pollutions going into the rivers that run through the cities..

    climate change on the scale of the city.  (cement = heat)


  2. 1. More C02: more houses, more cars, more electricity, that means more C02

    2. Enviromental Destruction: Animals lose their homes and if you build too far into a natrual, undisturbed area, more animal attacks will occur

    3. Trees are destroyed: to make the houses, many trees will be destroyed for the wood

  3. urbanization means more population, more needs, more structures, more waste in short it is MORE.

    proper planning for urban areas will also help the environment in a way or two, i also think that urbanized areas is a less co2 zone for it is a compacted area where there is less transpo
