Urgent. Best way of transport to get from Vienna Airport to Hotel Kopling?

I will be arriving in Austria, at the Vienna International Airport on Sunday and I need to find my way to my hotel;

I've found directions on the net, which seem to go to the station, then a train to Wien St Mark, then walk to the Hotel.

Does anyone familiar with the area recommend a better way to get there, other than the obvious taxi?

Also, is there anyway we can get there without having to walk? My father is coming with me, and he can only walk for short periods of time, and especially since we will have luggage it will be a pain.

I've left it quite late so I need to find out asap. So, any helps appreiciated.

Hallo Mik,

first of all there the Hotel Kopling is in Linz/Austria, not in Vienna. In Vienna you'll find the Hotel Kolping, I guess that is the one you are looking for. The use of public transport requires some walking to change the modes of transport. Additional details, based on your arrival time, you can find on the attached link. Put in Stiegengasse as destination for the bus, or Naschmarkt for the tube, called U-train in Vienna. The questinaire on various departure points at the Airport should be answered with "Ankunftsebene" (arrival area)

I would recommend to use a taxi. The distance from the airport amounts to 18 kms / 11 miles. Taxifare: 22-30 € round 28-38 GBP based on traffic condition.
